When you’re packing a bull out the hard way—bone-in quarters, heavy loads, rough terrain—you need game bags that can take abuse without turning your meat care into a problem.

Grakksaw Elk Game Bags (Bone In) are sized specifically for full elk quarters, built from premium ripstop nylon that’s twice the denier of our ultralight series for dramatically better durability, while still staying at 16 oz for the full set.

This kit is made for hunters who want the confidence to haul heavy, keep meat clean, and not baby their gear on the pack-out. Everything packs down neatly into the included stuff sack, and you’ll find them fast when it matters—reflective cord for night, and our signature high-viz orange that stands out.

What’s included

  • (4) Large Quarter Bags — 24" x 40" (designed for bone-in elk quarters)

  • (2) Tubular Meat Bags — 14" x 33" (backstraps, neck meat, and trim)

Built for: Bull elk and everything smaller.

Pack-out tip: We recommend using a rib roll instead of packing ribcage halves. It lightens your load and reduces the chance of tearing bags on serrated ribs. If you do pack ribs (by choice or regulation), each rib rack will fit into the bags with a front quarter.

Great!

Great bags. Well constructed, easy to use in field. Hind quarters easy to bag with lots of room to spare. The two meat bags easily handled the tenders, straps, neck meat. Laundered as directed with non scent detergent they look like new with zero odor! Great service also, quick response to inquires. Small lightweight packet in my pack. Made in Missouri makes them and Grakksaw a perfect 10 in my book! A big thank you to Grakksaw!

Best of the Best

Absolute best game bags. Ultralight, strong, pack down small, keep the meat clean, and wash out easily.

I’ve used several other top quality bags and these are my favorite. Love the orange color too!

Got my bone in elk bags today. They appear to be very good quality and as advertised, under 16oz. They even sent me a skull hanger as a black Friday gift.

Remarkable!

I unfortunately did not get to use my game bags last year on an elk but pulling them out of the package. They seem like very high quality bags and would work very well for what I do. And they are lightweight

Definitely recommended!

While shopping for game bags, I had two key requirements: they needed to be orange in color and durable enough for repeated use. These bags fit the bill perfectly and then some. I usually vacuum-seal them before the hunt to minimize their footprint while packed in my bag. I also have the boot dryers, which I originally purchased for an elk hunt, but they are currently being used to dry my work boots during a lengthy remote project. 10/10 would recommend both.
