Wet boots ruin hunts. The Grakksaw Backcountry Bootdryer is built for outdoorsmen who live out of a pack and need a simple way to dry boots fast without hauling bulky, power-hungry gear.

This is a pair of compact bootdryers, one for each boot/glove.

Designed to move air efficiently.

Each set includes a USB-C adapter, so you can run it off any USB-C charging cable and power it from a 5V USB source—battery pack, truck USB port, or camp power bank. It’s ultralight (under 4.0 oz), tough enough for real field use, and small enough to fit into the palm of your hand.

Power draw is minimal—about 0.27–0.30 amps at 5V (~1.35 watts)—roughly 27% of the power your phone uses while charging. We chose the fan size and wattage to balance drying speed and battery life, so you can keep air moving in your boots without draining your power bank.

They’re also perfect on the move - run them in the truck or between stalks.

What it is (and isn’t):
The Backcountry Bootdryer is not a 110V heated boot dryer with elements and a big fan. It’s a portable airflow system made for situations where weight, space, and power consumption matter.

For best results, pair it with a heat source - campfire warmth, a stove in a tipi/wall tent, or your truck floorboard with the heat blasting. With warm air available, it can dry boots up to 10x faster than letting them air-dry alone.

Must have boot dryers on your hunts!

These are amazing and I wish I would’ve found these earlier. They are super tough and lightweight. They hardly take up any space and you just plug them in to a battery pack to power them on. Doesn’t take long at all to dry out any boots. They’re perfect.

Awesome product!

These worked great on a recent Alaskan moose hunt. We were in a river Delta and it was constant exposure to moisture. These helped me keep dry and comfortable.

Pair these with a couple hand warmer packets for the luxury of dry boots on your backcountry adventure.

Great product…EVEN BETTER customer service!!!!!

Purchased these and they came with twovery minor production flaws (adapter didn’t work and the wire cover slightly pulled away from the connection point)….hardly deal breakers. Austin emailed me right away and offered me a new BCBD set (my choice of USB-A or USB-C) and adapters. I just opted for a new adapter…Austin sent me TWO brand new BCBDs, a USB-C AND a USB-A with a USB-A spatter cable and two USB-C adapters! Totally not necessary of him to do, but EXTREMELY appreciated. Hell of company, can’t recommend them enough!!!

THANK YOU AUSTIN!!!

Saved My Hunt

I had seen these in action on numerous Gritty Films and knew it was something worth adding to my kit.

Previous years Ive trudged in wet boots for days during a hunt, but this year I was able to dry my boots on a daily basis thanks to these boot dryers. This is a piece of gear that will always be in my pack on overnight trips.

100% Worth It

Carried these with me all of archery season but never needed them. Almost left them at home during late rifle but decided to bring them along.

We hiked through tons of snow and I am so glad we had these once we got back to camp. Everybodys boots were wet from melting snow and sweat. We dried four pairs of boots each night in 14 degree weather with these and a small 10k battery pack.

Worked amazing. Super quiet and they hardly drain the battery. Great addition to my backcountry kit and something I will definitely be keeping in the pack on future trips.

So far seems to work well, a few minor issues though

Havent had a chance to use the boot dryer on boots, but I did use it to dry out chest pockets on a waterfowl rain jacket that got wet from my hands during a heavy rain fall, as well as to dry the inside of a glove that also got completely saturated in rain. The dryer worked great got the small spaces dried quick and without pulling hardly any power from my power pack.

I gave the boot dryer a 4-star rather than a 5-star review because the boot dryer came with a USB-C adapter that looks like its meant to accept a longer USB-C cord from a power pack rather than having to plug the dryer directly into the power pack..but when I tried plugging into the provided adapter, the dryer didnt work, as though the adapter wasnt pushing power through. Maybe the adapter I got is just bad? Dont know, but having to direct-plug the dryer into a power bank with the short cables can be problematic depending on what youre trying to dry (I had to fold in my jacket so both fans would reach the two pockets).

Also, the wire coating at the power junction to the USB-C plug was pulled away from the junction, exposing the wire straight out of the box. I plan to throw some electrical tape over it, but having it delivered with exposed wire when this is designed to be used in backcountry settings is a little disappointing.

Worth every penny

Wish I could give it 10 stars. Great design, fantastic product. I have a terrible habit of not taking my shoes or boots off after work just out of being lazy/busy, and yet, Ive done away with my athletes foot that Ive always struggled with because Ive got this, and remove my insoles while it does its thing. Same shoes same insoles as before, and havent used tinactin in months. Takes up no space at all. Use it in the house, the car, and if you have a battery pack, use it anywhere. Dont know how long itll last, but Ill damn sure buy another one when and if it does. I might buy another just to have a spare set. I think the only thing thatd be nice is a heating element Y split add-on of some sort to the usb c on the fans for cutting down on time for drying truly wet shoes - say while camping, or snow conditions, but thatd probably be some sort of fire risk, so thats alright.

Must have for back country.

The product is great, next to a camp fire completely soaked boots will dry quickly. But the thing I am most impressed with is customer service. They go above and beyond to help their customers and I will be buying all my outdoor needs that I can from this company. Anyone in the fence about this product, just buy it you will not regret it.

Not Just for Hunting Boots!

The Grakksaw backcountry bootdryers have been great to use with my hunting boots in getting them dry again for the next hunt. I also used these with my ski boots after some spring skiing trips, and they did an awesome job on getting those dried out and ready for the next day!

Fantastic!

Best thing you never thought you needed! Use them at least once a week through the year and much more than that during season. Use them a lot for upland hunting in the snow to dry them out in a couple hours.

The best piece of gear to stay comfortable.

The there’s dozens of products that say they will make a hunt more comfortable but most are garbage IMO. But these, these make a huge difference. Any hunt any time of the year these make a huge difference in drying out sweat, water, whatever might have your boots soaked. Used these almost nightly while in Idaho on a spring bear hunt and dried my leather boots without fail.

Awesome! Tip, it rocks with a warm rock

The Grakksaw bootdryer is ideal for getting wet boots ready for the next day in wet conditions, like nearly 10 days in wet wild Alaska. The bootdryer will dry out the inside of boots even when air temps are cool and the humidity is topping the scales. To speed up the drying process and save power (when the sun don't shine) remove your insoles and place a warm rock inside your boots. The warm rock with your Grakksaws with speed up and boost the drying process. The inside of my very wet boots would be nice warm and dry in a fraction of the time it would normally take.

Really loved it!

Great customer service! I ordered boot dryers for a Christmas gift and it was held up at the post office. I emailed to inquire about it and within minutes I had a phone call to say theyre overnighted a new package so that it would get here before Christmas! Cant say enough great things!

Incredible!

What a great product when used in combination with any hot tent set-up. I thought these would drain my power bank, but somehow they us very little power and just get the job done. I cant stand having wet boots/feet especially when its cold. Now, I can push harder on my hunts knowing I can dry my boots out at the end of the day. My favorite morning routine is putting my boots with the Grakksaw boot dryers at the top of my tipi with a super-hot stove going. If you know, you know!
